Dear 'birds,

Great win last night! You know, I always enjoy good pitching (if we're on the inning side of it-- Santana's no-hitter a few weeks ago was painful). 

Lance Lynn-- Dude, you were amazing when you pitched around that lead off triple in the fifth inning, reaching down and firing your power pitches to strike out the side.  You currently are tied for the lead in wins... it's funny how no one saw this coming.  From what I've gathered, you were a control pitcher who had high strikeout totals in the minors, and then this past year you discovered that you could throw your fastball pretty hard, morphing from Lance Lynn the The Lance Lynn.  Very curious.

Jason Motte-- Loved your reaction when you got that double play to end the game. Priceless!

Carlos Beltran-- I read you were hurting last night, but you still managed to score the only run of the game, and you had three of the Cardinals four hits (Freese had one).
